OUR FARM:
We started showing horses about 9 years ago when my daughter asked
for a pony for Christmas. She had been taking riding lessons from
a friend of ours who lived down the road. Little did I know in this
short time where we would be now. Morgan (my daughter) had been
taking lessons on a POA mare named Kandi from this girl for about
a year when they said to me "Hey, there's a POA show this weekend
want to go?" and I said
. Sure why not
.. Famous
last words
..

We bought Kandi for Morgan as a Christmas present that year. She
has won several championships on Kandi since that first show at
Local, Regional and International events. At 18, Kandi was retired
as a Supreme Champion to become a broodmare in our breeding
program and will be bred for a 2007 foal.
Morgan's current ride is Doc's Conclusive Chick. She is a 9 year
old Sorrel with snowflakes on her hind quarters. She has turned
out to be a very nice all around pony. In 2003 Morgan was SE Regional
9-12 Overall High Point and won numerous classes this summer at
the Regional and International levels with Chick. Morgan and Chick
were #1 in the nation in Jr. Western Pleasure and Jr. English Pleasure.
Chick was in the Top 10 Overall Ponies for 2003 too. She is
pictured below with Ken Steele, POAC South East Regional Director
accepting her year end awards.

I bought a 4 year old Palomino mare named His Sierra
Peach or "Peaches" while I was at the sale in 2003.
I am going to train her to drive and add her to my breeding program
as well. She should mature to around 53". She has been
started under saddle in 2005 and will make an 8 and Under rider very
happy someday when she is ready. She excels in English and Western
Pleasure and will make a nice jumper too! Here is a picture of

We also acquired Some Like It Flashy AKA "Flashy" from
Ken and Pat Steele in October of 2004 for Morgan to show. She is
an awesome English pony. She was Reserve High Point Jr. Pony for
2004 in Florida and won many classes at the 2004 and 2005 Turkey Circuit.

So as you can see what all started 9 years ago as an innocent question
"Hey, there's a POA show this weekend... want to go?"
has turned into not only one of the best things that has ever happened
to our family but a business for me. Being a tack junkie,
I saw the need for families who show to have decent products for
a reasonable price. On our products pages you can find these items. We
hope you have an enjoyable experience at our site.
